The full shebang! I’m delighted to present this extremely beautiful and early ref. 3800 in fantastic condition complete with enough documentation to get even the most hardcore ‘box and papes’ collector excited!

The watch was serviced and polished by Patek Philippe at the end of 2020, they did an outrageously good job, (see pics) with the case and bezel showing little to no marks and edges sharp. The bracelet follows suit with perfectly contrasting polished and brushed links, the clasp logo crisp. There is very little stretch in the bracelet and it will fit a wrist circa 17,5 cm, no spare links however easily purchased direct from Patek.

The original, early and rare ‘GENÈVE’ (e-grave) dial is pure chameleon, blue/turquoise and green hues galore! Best observed in direct sunlight you can see how it plays with the light, the condition of the dial also near perfect with the complementing, dark fat font, date disc sitting pretty at 3 o’clock position. The original lume on the dial and in the handset is all present and reacts as expected with UV, dropping off quickly.

The set comes with the rarely seen early grey suede boxset, original paperwork, leather wallet, a Patek letterhead confirming a 25% discount to the original buyer and finally the original receipt of purchase! As mentioned the watch was also serived by the Patek Philippe Salon in London December 2020, completing a full mechanical service and ‘valet’ (factory polish). An amazing set and one of the best I’ve seen for sale in a long time, I hope you enjoy!
