With only 300 units made in platinum and weighing in at 106g this 38mm Perpetual Chronograph is a rare beast and a seriously heavy hitter on the wrist. Powered by the automatic 1185 Frederic Piguet chronograph (neo-vintage powerhouse movement used by the likes of Blancpain/Ap/VC and more) with the in-house perpetual module on top.

The watch is presented in unpolished condition with all engravings and hallmarks crisp. There are marks to the case consistent with age mostly in the form of hairlines, a small nick below the bezel at 6 o’clock and marks to the rear of lugs from historical strap changes. The bottom right lug appears to angle out ever so slightly at the end, not mentioned by VC in service and not effect on wearability.

The dial is near mint ft. a subtle texture contrasting wonderfully with the moon-phase at 6. Finally the originally platinum buckle is also present.

Mechanically full bill of health having just returned from a 2023 VC and now carrying its 2yr international warranty. A rare and complicated piece that has serious presence in the wrist and can hold its own against similar complications over twice the price tag.
