1989 Audemars Piguet Quantième Perpétual 25668 PT with AP Extracts

One of the most outrageous pieces we’ve had the pleasure of handling and couldn’t be prouder offering this rare openwork for sale. With 141 produced across both ref 25558 & 25668 PT Openwork references it’s a rare beast, this one numbered 86 (early 25668 reference).
Having previously written about these QP’s it’s been a huge focus to find great examples having a personal love for them myself. The feeling and enjoyment I get from wearing this watch is everything and more for justifying my unruly addiction to watches (don’t pretend you don’t know what I’m talking about here!)
Looking at the condition, the case is razor sharp, with all engravings and hallmarks crisp and deep. There are minor hairlines on the case but nothing major to report. The lugs are thick with original lines and the bezel is in wonderful shape.
The dial and hands are in perfect condition and the legendary 2120 movement impeccably hand decorated making this one hell of an eye catcher! The combination of the white metal and deep blue on the sub dials is a perfect combination with the pop of yellow from the moon disc flickering wonderfully in direct light.
The watch is accompanied with AP extracts, AP 2021 service paperwork, Platinum AP pin buckle and deep blue AP leather strap (fitted to A Collected Man strap in the photos). Now who is taking it home?
