1993 Breguet Classique Perpetual Calendar 3057 with Papers
A rare beauty from the neo-vintage era, made in few numbers, and exquisitely well executed, the ref 3057 perpetual calendar ft. engraved movement and display case back. A truly gorgeous watch and steeped in history with its relationship to Daniel Roth and his school perpetual calendar pocket watch, of which the dial is derived from. The watch is presented in wonderful condition with the case showing hints of rosey patina developing around the coin edge with only minor hairlines/nicks present from use. Lugs are thick, lug holes sharp and case engravings deep, there are some surface marks around the lugs from strap changes/light marks, most notable shot in the photos below. The coin edge is also in wonderfully preserved condition.
The dial, mesmerising with its multiple guilloche patterning, shows little to no signs of wear with the detailing a true work of art. The dial colour showing white, cream or almost golden in some lights.
The engraved movement is a stark reminder of the true craftsmanship, attention to detail and love that went into each and every one of these incredible watches.
