1984 Rolex Day-Date 18038
Case is thick with hallmarks on the underside clear. I chose not to polish the case/bracelet as there is a wonderful warm patina throughout giving it serious character. I believe the watch to have been polished lightly in the past.
The champagne dial has rare black topped markers, a subtle but beautiful detail. The lume plots are full and all intact, there is minor historical spotting on the dial. The hands are later Rolex replacements.
The bracelet shows light signs of wear for its age with little stretch. The overall condition is great with the clasp crown logo crisp and hallmarks defined. Bracelet length will fit up to 19cm wrist.
Overall I can’t help but think this solid gold 18k model packs serious value in todays market. The watch has just returned from service and ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
