The case is in perfect condition, razor sharp, hallmarks deep and nice patina developing. Of course this case is made by no other than Jean-Pierre Hagmann, legendary case maker who is still practicing his craft today with Akrivia. His cases are known for not only their quality finish but also their sound, the reapeater here is no exception.
Flipping the watch over you can see the movement in all its glory with the rotor numbered 60, one of if not the latest I’ve seen. The case is a mere 34mm and the thinnest automatic perpetual calendar minute repeater of its time.
The dial is in perfect condition with the yellow gold accents and deep blue moon-disc complementing perfectly. The watch is accompanied with its original blancpain 18k yellow gold pin buckle, fitted to a Handnn strap.
Running perfectly and chiming even better, it really is the epitome of Blancpains creations from the 80/90’ in what collectors are dubbing the ‘Biver-era’. Personally I love this watch and I know it will be enjoyed thoroughly by its next caretaker, enjoy!
