1986 IWC Ingenieur SL 3506 Box and Papers

Presented in immaculate condition is this ‘somewhat overlooked’ Genta classic, the IWC Ingenieur 3506, a 34mm version of the infamous Jumbo. Coming complete with box and paperwork this is a true collectors set, featuring the desirable black graph paper dial. Our friends over at ‘The Hairspring’ wrote a wonderful piece on this reference, find it here.

Looking at the condition of the watch it’s honestly hard to find a fault, the case and bezel are in superb condition with only a very small number of hairlines to report. The edges are sharp and brushed surfaces in perfect condition.

The bracelet is tight showing little to no stretch, again very few hairlines to report. Moving to the dial the graph paper finish is spectacular, especially in direct sunlight, and shows no visible wear. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, again in fantastic conditions. The gold hour markers and hands compliment the dial wonderfully with the original black date wheel blending seamlessly into the dial.

The watch is accompanied with its IWC box, dated guarantee - retailer signed, original envelope that housed this document + a numbers of booklets relating to the model such as a price lists, service centres and promotional material.

A forgotten classic… not for long in our opinion.
