1981 Rolex GMT Master 16750 Matte Dial Full Set
S/N: 6.6mil (1981) Mechanical service carried out July 2019 - watch running perfectly.
Case: Original case that has previously been lightly polished but retains thick and even lugs. Serial & reference number clearly visible.
Dial & Hands: Stunning original MK2 matte dial with creamy lume plots and matching original handset. Original open 6’s date wheel.
Bracelet: Original 78360 oyster bracelet and 580 end-links. Bracelet shows very little stretch, previously restored by Classic Watch Repair.
Under the loupe: Bezel is dated later than the watch with the insert developing a consistent fade towards the outer edge on the blue section. Handset slightly darker towards the centre of the hands. Surfaces scratches on the rear of the lugs where the bracelet has been removed. Minor cracks in the hour hand, not visible without loupe (see photos)
Accessories: Truly wonderful set including Rolex punched papers, original purchase receipt from Mayors, both inner and outer boxes, calendar card, Rolex Oyster and GMT booklets, 2016 & 2019 internal parts that were exchanged during service.
