1980's IWC Ingenieur Oman Khanjar 3506

£0.00
Sold

We are proud to present this rare and incredibly well preserved 34mm ref. 3506 featuring the Omani Khanjar with the crown ,symbol of the Sultan and his family, on the dial. These Genta models are gaining popularity with their thin case and overall pleasing proportions.

The case, bezel and bracelet show very little wear for their age retaining sharp edges and original lines. The bracelet is particulary impressive with little to no stretch and coming fully linked.

The dial features the distinctive Omani Khanjar on the left of the dial, the red providing a wonderful contrast against the white paper-graph dial. There is a small scratch to report just above the centre of the dial, barely visible to the eye but caught using a loupe (see pics below). Please not there is also a little lume loss on the 4,5 and 7 plots (still lights up under black light). The original tritium on the dial and handsfall off at the same rate.

The watch comes with an IWC box that’s definitely showing its age a little more than the watch with the inner box material starting to flake. Final thing to mention is the watch received a service crown from IWC this year, 2022.

We bought the watch as its funky as hell and turned our head, we think it might turn yours too!
