Proud to offer this extremely well preserved Vacheron Overseas 42042 full set from early 2000’s. Just serviced by Vacheron Constantin Boutique in London coming with a 2 year VC international warranty.
The tritium sunburst black/grey dial is captivating, color ever-changing depending on the light. The dial code in the paperwork reads ‘8890’, this code is associated with the Arabic dial suggesting that at some point in time the previous owner ordered a dial change to the one you see today — our opinion is we much prefer it! The dial is ‘Sigma’ signed below the 6 o’clock marker with all the lume plots remaining pleasantly intact. The handset houses luminova lume, correct for the early 2000’s period of this set, with its glow tailing off after just a few minutes.
The case is is factory sharp with little to no visible scratches, as is the bezel. The bracelet condition is inline with the rest of the watch, there is minimal stretch and the brushed surfaces and sharp chamfers have seen very little wear.
The set is full including all the documentation that came at purchase including the Guarantee, COSC certificate, even the official stickered envelope that houses the documents plus much more, all with matching movement and case numbers. Overall a brilliant and beautiful set that we are excited to rehome.
