A rare and relatively unknown twist on the OG ref. 3130, this ref. 3135 is semi-skeletonized and fully hand-engraved, one of the most beautiful watches I’ve ever held, period.
The case is very well preserved, caseback engravings very crisp with only small signs of wear from 25+ years of use. Most notable wear (can be seen clearly in the photos below) is a scratch on one lug side and another mark at the 9 o’clock ‘coin edge’ side of the case. Lugs are thick and overall excellent condition, inc the bezel.
The dial is just WILD, nothing more to say here apart from its in mint condition and the floral engravings will keep you starting at your wrist for hours - the guilloche around the moonphase being my personal highlight. Flip the watch over to reveal even more intricate work on the movement, the off-centre rotor with ‘B’ for Breguet catches the eye immediately followed by a deep admiration for the hours/days spent on the engraving.
Finally the watch is fitted to a Delugs strap and the original Breguet 18k yellow gold pin buckle. This watch is not subtle, it demands attention and I’m here for it. Fully serviced and ready to roll, a great opportunity to add one of Breguets most adventurous design to the collection.
