What I love — The ultimate Patel Philippe ultra-thin perpetual from the 80’s. The watch features the lesser seen 1st series dial made my ‘Singer’ (I have a whole article about the different 1st series dials, find it here). The dial is in wonderful condition ft. beautiful thin serif fonts, long gold sub dial pointers (only seen on early examples) and deep cut sub dials. The color of the dial also changes dramatically depending on the light and angle. The case is in great condition with thick lugs and hallmarks present. Finally the watch is accompanied by a a Patek Philippe leather strap, Patek Philippe 14mm pin buckle + the Archive Extract.
What you should know — Circa 650 units produced in the 1st series, total 3940 production thought to be circa 7,000 units! The watch has been polished previously, very common given the age, however the hallmarks on case side are still visible, just not untouched (see pic). Scratches on the back on the lugs from strap changes. Dial has tiny bit of wear on the edge of the 3 o’clock sub dial.
