1980's Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 14332SA
It is our pleasure to present this steel and gold Audemars Piguet mid-size reference 14332. This being one of the lesser known and harder to come by references, you can find a deep dive on all the different references in our previous article here. Coming direct from a wonderful UK collector and his family it was an honour to shoot and list this watch.
The case and bezel are in fantastic condition, having received a very light touch up during a recent service. The screws are still sunken below the bezel top, the case lines are clean and the case screws far from the edges. The bracelet comes fully linked and retains near factory levels of stretch (or lack of in this example). The AP logo on the clasp is crisp with the bracelet retaining the 2 special ‘AP’ stamped removable links often lost, a nice touch.
The dial is perfect with some light patina beginning to develop in places. The text is free from blemishes and the original tritium on the dial and handset have aged evenly to a lovely creamy hue.
Coming with its AP presentation box this set is a collectors dream, a real time capsule and one we were extremely grateful to enjoy. We hope you love it as much as we do.
