Personally I love the Midas range, sadly the King Midas (even on its smallest setting) doesn’t quite fit my wrist. The Queen however wears like a dream. This Queen Midas Cellini is a later variant, exhibiting a symmetrical case, Cellini on the dial and Queen Midas stamped on the clasp.
Looking at the condition I’m more than comfortable saying its insanely good, hard to imagine this watch left the factory near 50 years ago. The chamfered edges exhibit a factory finish and razor sharp. There are some minor scratches visible but really nothing more than light wear to report.
The dial and hands are in superb condition, Cellini on the dial as correct for this later Midas variant. Small scratch on the glass at 6 o’clock position.
The bracelet shows zero stretched and comes with 3 removable links, these are literal gold dust, impossible to find. When placed on its deployant clasp the watch stands perfectly upright, bracelet condition is second to none. The hallmarks on the bracelet are crisp and visible with the Rolex crown on the clasp untouched.
The bracelet fits up to 16.5cm max, it will not fit above this - please do measure carefully and consider the watch must fit over your hand. Really excited to see where this one ends up.
